Mwinjaka joined the Bank in April 2019 as Coordinator of the African Water Facility (AWF), a position he held until his untimely death. The AWF is a special fund under the Water Development and Sanitation Department (AHWS) that supports African Countries to prepare bankable projects that can attract investment financing for water sector infrastructure development.
